The Outlook series is Lazard Asset Management's flagship research publication — the firm's market view, published for clients and prospects across every region. Each edition pairs long-form strategist commentary with original exhibits, and has to work as a printed book, a PDF and a web article without losing its character in any of them.
The imagery throughout is directed rather than sourced — abstract forms generated to follow the movement of the charts they sit beside, so a page carries a trace of its own analysis and the covers extend the same logic across the edition.
The web edition follows the same path: I design the article layouts in Figma, review them in the file with the team, and hand the direction to the web developers, who build the page in HTML.
I lead the design of the series: the cover system that makes each edition recognizable as part of the family, the typographic structure that carries dense research at length, and the data-visualization standards the exhibits are built to. Working with the Chief Market Strategist and Channel Marketing, the design runs from concept through print production on a fixed publication date.
